Anonymous Paternity Testing

Anonymous Paternity Testing

First off, stay away from DNA test kits.  The number one reason paternity tests come back inconclusive, tainted or inaccurate is because the sample was contaminated during collection.  I strongly suggest you get a certified medical person who is familiar with taking DNA samples to perform your collection.  It may be an additional cost, but you will not get your money back if your DNA sample is contaminated.  A DNA test is only 99.999% accurate if the collection is performed correctly.

Be cautious of hidden fees.  I have heard horror stories from people who purchased anonymous paternity testing in Dallas.  The test cost $79 and had no collection fee.  However, in order to release the results the DNA laboratory wanted over $200.  Many online DNA companies will sell you a cheap test and then require you to pay a $25 collection fee and $35 processing/shipping fee when you visit a local DNA collection site.  I have heard these collection sites referred to “collection partners”.  It is common and you will have to weigh the costs and see if it saves you money buying online.

When examining the overall costs of paternity test I have yet to find a place that beats Any Lab Test Now®.  You can follow the links in the top right corner to find a location nearest to you.  Their basic paternity test runs $199 and that includes everything.  The court ordered paternity test is $469.  They perform the collection on site and ship it off to their lab, and the results are back in 2 business days.  I did some research on their lab and they run each DNA sample through twice to ensure 99.999% accuracy.  They are capable of very unusual collections as well.  If both father and child are not in Dallas they can arrange a collection that will work.  I was told they once performed a collection on a child in Plano, and arranged the collection on the father from a remote village in the middle of Africa.

There are more reasons than not you would want anonymous paternity testing in Dallas.  Keep in mind that you can only do so with a basic, non-chain of custody version which will not hold up in court.
